I wrote one last year with AI as I have no talent.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p31DEEsmRQnIqvGs8AD6JXQIEl2IqFzT/view?usp=drivesdk

It’s called the day dale’s heart broke.

[–] far_university1990@reddthat.com 1 points 8 hours ago

There is no talent. Only skill. Take time to build. And you too lazy for that.

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

That’s excellent! Better now than last year when I might have had lingering feelings over cybertruck - just like that first crush you can’t get over no matter how toxic they are

“Somewhere outside’a Sutton,
Elon pushed a button.
And my brand-new CyberTruck she drove away.”

On a morning from a Paul Blart movie
In a country that's going back in time.

You went rolling through that crowd like a, Proud Boy mewling,
Commiting a crime.

She drives out of the sun in a silver dressing,
Rusting through from the touch of rain.

Don't bother asking for explanations,
she'll refuse refunds all the same

[–] A_norny_mousse@piefed.zip 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

King Crimson always did weird shit outside of expectations or genres, but this is one of their weirdest:

It's here I sit and rust amid this ruin and rancor
Like tire irons, toothy grills and car parts before me
The acid rain floods my floorboard
Burns my pores and rots my upholstery
Once I was worshipped, polished magnificently
Now I lay in decay by the dirty angry bay

I'm ready to leave
I wanna be out of here
I'm ready to ride away
I don't wanna die in here
I'm ready to ride

My skin is metallic now, no longer an elegant powder blue
My body unhinged and sleeping in the jungle
Of motor block manifolds and metal relics
What was deluxe becomes debris, I never questioned loyalty
But this dead end demolishes the dreams
Of an open highway

I'm still glad they let the Chapman Stick go again after two albums. Bass & guitar is just better.

Can't apply for a job because the AI interview stage can't recognize his country accent.

Can't afford his car note, his truck leaves him.

He's broke, so his blonde waifu AI GF subscription runs out and she leaves him.

Tries to get drunk, but the delivery app won't let him buy alcohol.

Gets rejected trying to get sexy with the Tractor Supply customer service chatbot.

I'm not sure if this is an AI-based county song, or a plausible Blade Runner sequel.

You have a great imagination, and a clear writing style.

We'll pay you minimum wage to write stories so our AI can usurp actual authors.

[–] A_norny_mousse@piefed.zip 6 points 3 days ago

We’ll pay you minimum wage

Not even: "We'll pay you, a contractor, a one-time measly sum to create IP for us. No royalties or anything so high and lofty for you, peasant, and certainly no job security."

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Hey now! I can write this for free and try desperately to get it published so someone else can get paid to let it get ripped for training data.

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 days ago

That's the American way

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Dude don't diss my tractor wife

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 2 points 2 days ago

That's my point, sad hick made a pass at your tractor wife. She shot him down. She's a good lady, that one. A real keeper.

The battery dies in his robodog

shoulda already been a song like that. trucks cost 100k and the repo man casually blends into the sun-kissed darkness of suburbia at 6:30 am without a worry. those legal desperados are usually riding off into the light of day before you can pull your legal carry out of the nightstand.

if country music wasn't fake as hell it would have already addressed this.

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Hell there’s room for a huge dystopian movie about this. Start off with mikes and miles of rusted out shut down factories, maybe do like the Star Trek one energy where there used to be a car manufacturer industry long ago and far away…… maybe segue into the endless droid army from “Geonosis” and a shot of gilded age oligarchs laughing while looking down from Elyssium

[–] Earthwormjim91@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

Red, White, and Pink Slip Blues pretty much already addresses that.

I hide the pickup truck
In Ricky Brown's garage
(Over on the next block)
'Cause there's a repo man to dodge

I slip out the back door
Lord, I never thought I'd live to see this day
We're gonna need that truck
When they come to take the house away

[–] TubularTittyFrog@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

dunno where you live but nobody driver cybertrucks is taking loans out on them where I live. They buy them in cash and they are all old dudes or young tech bros. there are two on my block, one guy has paisley flowers all over his.

also three rivian R1s and a couple of Lucid Airs on my block.

[–] FrChazzz@lemmus.org 8 points 2 days ago

Will the dog be in the back?

Yeah, the dog will be in the back.

[–] flamingo_pinyata@sopuli.xyz 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

"My ex-truck cheated on me with my best friends motorcycle"

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

"and somehow now I'm paying child support, where I'm fucked but I didn't get fucked; tell me what kind of bullshit is thiiiiiis?"

[–] Elmirador@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago

Some one make AI compose a country song about their truck leaving them for a liberal. Top of the charts guaranteed.

[–] Abyssian@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Muh truck done run over muh dog. :/

[–] owl@infosec.pub 2 points 2 days ago

They took our jobs!

[–] nightofmichelinstars@sopuli.xyz 10 points 3 days ago

The movie Her, but make it hick

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

Knowing hicks in 'Murica, I am on the side of the truck

After it runs over his dog.

[–] Potti@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

There already is a metal album about fucking cars so it can't be that far off

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

There's a metal album starring a bird - country music wishes it was as awesome as metal.

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago (2 children)

“I lost my car and, uh…
Nope, there it is by that dumpster!“
— Bill Hicks

[–] OpenStars@discuss.online 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It's a cyber truck - so actually it is that dumpster!

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

a very dangerous charcuterie dumpster. it can cut a large venison deer in half.

[–] OpenStars@discuss.online 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Very dangerous, very "sharp"...

[–] shatterling@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 days ago

"See ya tomorrow! Drrrrrrrr"

[–] Airfried@piefed.social 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I mean if there are songs about horses leaving a guy then it already happened and if there isn't then there's no reason to believe it would be any different with autonomous cars.

[–] TeddE@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

One difference: the horse vehicle may run off to the fjords, the truck vehicle may run off to the Ford's.

I guess yall haven't heard the art of Memphis Kansas Breeze https://youtu.be/L8MBUZjJX7Y?t=213

It's definitely somewhere in their discography

[–] charokol@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 days ago

Came here to post this

[–] Ertain@feddit.online 3 points 3 days ago

I was riding in my Ford, until my Ford left me.

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 1 points 2 days ago

Rhys Darby did a bit somewhat similar to this at a standup. About a Roomba and a Cyber Truck. I don't remember the specifics. But it was about the Roomba wanting to see the world. He's very funny, if you ever have the chance to see him live, I highly recommend it.
