when it's your boss and your family and other people who have influence over your life, you tend to give a a lot of fucks about what they think.

not everyone is an atomized detached person, or has a job that isn't influenced by their personal choices.

a lot of people think a man who isn't working, and making bank while doing so, is a worthless piece of shit human being. any role where a man isn't doing both those things makes him worthless. including so called progressive anti-gender folks, also think this way.

Harvard is really intent on it's own self-destruction for like the past 20 years now.

Completely captured by techno facist bozos, and well that's most of the student body there now too, so.

Feels like I got out before the ship went down when I graduated in 2005, but damn those icebergs were obvious back then.

FYI this article is about the business school, not Harvard College.

best thing about being single and financially independent is the only trips you have to take are the ones you book for vacation or work.

I'm shit of shitty people hiding behind *ism, or *phobia when they are abusive hypocritical assholes as individuals whose only interest in 'injustice' is when someone is trying to hold them to account for something they did individually.

but in internet land nothing is anyone's fault, everyone is a perpetual victim of forces of oppression beyond their control and that makes them 'a good person.' because apparently opinions are what matters.

and yeah i know that makes me a bitch and an asshole for holding that opinion.

this is why when your hobby/activity gets popular it goes from being cool people to being a bunch of assholes.

because assholes chase stuff for clout, they don't do stuff because they actually enjoy it.

Good news is once something else is popular, assholes will move on to the next big thing, but whether you can spend a few years dealing with assholes in your activity/hobby is another thing entirely.

what the fuck is 'energy'.

i will never understand these new age bullshit terms.

unless you are measuring someone else joule output. and if you are doing that you're either a personal trainer or a creep.

it's not acting superior, it's being superior.

if you want to get faster at running, you have practice running, a lot.

that's how everything in life is. if you want to improve something about yourself you have to practice that thing and learn it and gain skill and experience in it.

you can pretend that isn't true all you want, fine, but all you are doing is harming yourself and ensuring your failure at life. you can also make up absurd arguments, like why ever bother running at all if you aren't going to win a gold at the Olympics! which is PRECISELY the type of thinking every drugged out loser I ever known know makes.

nobody is working you to the bone who no change for advancement. that's a choice you are making yourself.

nobody stopping you from quitting your job and playing games from 2005 50 hours a week....

that's the scary part about being an adult.
