Big Trolley propaganda. Note that they only show you the very near future path, and not what's really ahead.

[–] dan1101@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

They promise everything will be like this, but then next thing you know you're tied to the tracks.

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Zoom in. The tracks are just made of laborers.

Live ones or their bones? Because my settlers of Catan strategy feels awfully called out

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I was imagining live ones. Bones are probably okay.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Look if I build all my settlements on sheep, that's what the dice are going to roll you hear me RNGesus? Don't make me bring my handyman up to heaven. He has a nail gun and all kinds of neat power tools to distract RNGesus (carpenters gonna carpent) while I steal some sheep.

Sounds very suspicious. Better pull the emergency ~~break~~ brake and start looking.

Literally reading this on a trolley where everything is fine.

(by which I mean train, I actually have no idea what a "trolley" actually is)

[–] GandalftheBlack@feddit.org 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's the thing you put your groceries in and wheel around in a supermarket

Before the invention of the USB, you had to transfer data manually. The trolleybus made it possible to move large amounts with much less effort.

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

The biggest lesson I've learned from trolley problems is that it is way safer to be on a trolley than it is to be tied to trolley tracks.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

But imagine if there were a problem...

[–] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

I trust that about as much as hearing "you are on the fastest available route"

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 month ago

Reality is more like the trolly is traveling on a straight track while the entire world is going to hell around it, but there's nothing you can do because the trolly just goes on and on.

[–] nuko147@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

It's the trolley after it hit the people on it's tracks.

[–] BenLeMan@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Finally a trolley meme I can get behind.

[–] return2ozma@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

This is communism!!!

[–] Themosthighstrange@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Did op observing the trolley change the results, quantum physics in action.

[–] WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The problem isn't the trolley, it's the destination.

[–] Fmstrat@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I want this framed.

[–] ExLisper@lemmy.curiana.net 4 points 1 month ago

People on the trolley never had a problem. The always travel safely to their destination.

[–] ImgurRefugee114@reddthat.com 3 points 1 month ago

The tracks are made of people

[–] altphoto@lemmy.today 3 points 1 month ago

Are you sure ruzzian ultrasonic missiles are not heading your way right now?

[–] pedrobear@altgag.net 3 points 1 month ago

[–] Themosthighstrange@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

[–] UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I flip the switch initiating the chaos!

[–] libre_warrior@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 month ago

The switch transports you into an alternate reality of the regular trolley.

[–] Okokimup@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I'm taking this as a blessing for the 4 hour drive I'm boutta make.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

this makes alarm bells go off in my brain.

things are going smoothly because you're not in control and your destination is a bad place.

[–] anugeshtu@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

The "tracks" are just representing the path of people with the least resistance
