I agree. One of the most frustrating things about Amber alerts is the fact that you can't easily look at the alert after it's been dismissed. I found out there is a way to find the alert but it's not simple.
As to the article. In my opinion if Amber alerts save just one child a year they're worth having.

I never have and never will trust "the cloud". If someone else is holding your data, it is no longer your data.
The problem is that these doctors might not even know that the AI's are spying on them. We don't have enough legislative protection for our private data so they could sign up for these things and be under the impression that their data is secure meanwhile these AI companies are siphoning that data into their training models without telling them. It's not like it hasn't happened before.
That is one of the legitimate uses. Unfortunately it's marred by the AI companies' complete lack of trustworthiness when it comes to data privacy and security. You can't know for certain they aren't just wrapping your personal medical notes into their ever growing store of training data.
That's pretty much what is driving the entire AI "boom". It's the Amazon effect.
Amazon, and Netflix to a certain extent as well as a number of other early internet startups, lost money for around 10 years before they started making shit tons. And everybody wants to be on that particular ride. So they are queueing up in every AI line they can find to hedge their bets on one of them being the one that survives and thrives. It doesn't really occur to any of them that all of them could fail. Because "AI is the future". Except there is no plan to monetize any of them. And so far every time one of them introduces a charge, people stop using it.

I was actually referring to his campaign before he obtained the Infinity Stones to enact his "final solution". He references it in Infinity war when talking to his "daughter" trying to make her see his way by telling her that her home planet had become a "paradise where no child goes hungry".
We as a species, at this very moment in time, have the physical and technological capability to feed every man woman and child on the planet, yet there's somehow not enough food to feed all people and groceries are more expensive than they were 100 years ago. In terms of shear volume, you can stack all of humanity in one small corner of the grand canyon but "there's not enough room for people to live in a home." yet millions of houses and apartments stand empty as placeholders for equity and investment.
Scarcity is a choice, not a fact of existence. Stop buying the propaganda.
It is widely understood that Thanos was insane. Resources aren't naturally limited and his campaign of slaughtering half the populations of planets didn't ensure plenty for the masses. What he accomplished was to teach otherwise isolated civilizations that unless they put aside their differences and worked together they were vulnerable to devastating attack.
The only scarcity there is or ever has been is artificially created by either ineptitude or purposeful in order to prop up the wealthy who are given ownership of land and resources.
If he truly wish for a prosperous universe he would have snapped those fingers and installed the knowledge to create a post scarcity society on every planet with intelligent life in all beings. Because with all things the answer is EDUCATION NOT DEATH.
