I've seen this meme dozens of times, maybe hundreds, who can tell?

He's just that good!

If you squint hard enough it becomes loss
I think my sanity is lost, from reading this comment. (Thank you, I've been meaning to lose it somewhere along the way.)

Since 1962.
thry pay employees enough for people to work, if there were fewer desperate labourers and the same amount of work needed to be done they would be forced to pay more
They pay employees enough that we have to then pay for those employees' welfare. It's not a free market. It's a subsidized one.
Companies would pay you near zero if they could. And all they have to do to accomplish that is remove the minimum wage and cut social programs.
if people don't earn enough to live the supply of lobourers naturally fixes itself
If they didnt have enough desperate laborers they would make it so. Too well paid to say no to slave jobs? A few million in lobbying will see you get replaced by a crappy machine, promoted to do 3 jobs for the pay of 1, lose your benefits, or some other shit.
yes, and a perpetually shrinking labour force counteracts that nicely.
