Where the hell are you from where 196 cm isn't tall? We're the same height and I loom over nearly everyone I meet like a fucking giant.
Netherlands probably. 180 cm is the average for a man there.
16 cm is a pretty big difference. Thats almost 10% and surely more than a standard deviation above.
That's being bigger, not looming over everyone. Find yourself in a group of Asian tourists who are often not even chest height for some good looming.
Northern Germany, Netherlands, Denmark. I felt I was tall before moving to the area. Now I feel just below average.
Ah, that tracks. A large fraction of my genealogy is from that area.
From the Czech Republic. I mean, I am tall, but I still know like three people taller than me.
