GPS is actually far more accurate than that. There is deterministic jitter introduced to make civilian use cases precise to only a few meters, but military equipment has the algorithm to subtract that jitter and achieve precision measured in centimeters.

Anyway, that statement is highly misleading. They were comparing to previous inertial navigation systems, not GPS navigation.

I didn't know that's an option. What models are you looking at if I may ask?

I want a new take on the Pixel 4a. Slim, light, reasonably rugged just by the nature that it's plastic all around and weighs nothing. I miss that phone still...

Anyone volunteering to give free labor to one of Muk's vanity projects to undermine modern society is probably helping most by not trying to contribute to Wikipedia.

Most of the damage is done with good intentions.

Recently one of our devs was caught running Chrome portable (because he wasn't given admin access), where he logged in to his personal google account and saved his company credentials, where they were promptly synced to his personal malware-infested home system and ended up in a paid dataset on the darknet. IT Security, InfoSec and Governance policies have to be written with this kind of employee behaviour in mind.

Incidentally him and his team had just complained loudly about MFA being required for our critical apps.

You only need to experience what some people manage to do to their machines with and without admin access to favour a return to the abacus for the general workforce.

And software developers are simultaneously the best and absolute worst users.

It's not meant to scare people, it's meant to impress unscrupulous clueless tech bros to generate hype for the IPO.

We have portable energy sources. They're pretty efficient. Especially comparable to an orbital launch.

Not every religious person feels the need to forcibly convert others.

Some moron is gonna vibe code a script that spoofs this on the surface. Yea it'll be detectable, but not detected in most cases.

Thanks. Of course it's liters.

Mercedes too. An E300 used to have 300cm³ of displacement.

Still it's better this way. People demanding huge displacement values for no fucking reason when technology has long moved on are among the dumbest on the planet.
