The greatest thing selfhosting ever did was give me an easy way to search "cat" in immich and get rid of all the stupid, useless photos of places and people. Just get me to the good stuff, man.
"G'day, I'm Bruce Power, eh?"
I totally thought the same thing.
IMO, it's between 4:00 and 4:30am is the cutoff between days.
Because it's more fun!
It used to be a thing where you could get a job driving brand new BMWs around Europe until it hit like 6,000km so they could be imported to the US cheaper as a "used" car.
Yes, that's how national standards work.
You also can't import a Japanese-made vehicle to the US until it's 25 or more years old because the safety specs are different.
I only use YT through invidious front ends, so I only see the promoted ones, but whew... Every topic has some and they bubble to the top a lot.
Wow.
It's that low?
Genuinely surprised by that.
Why does car need to be an android app?
Awww...You don't even know the story?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boy_Who_Cried_Wolf
"The Boy Who Cried Wolf" is one of Aesop's Fables, numbered 210 in the Perry Index. From it is derived the English idiom "to cry wolf", defined as "to give a false alarm" in Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable[2] and glossed by the Oxford English Dictionary as meaning to make false claims, with the result that subsequent true claims are disbelieved.
The only poor reasoning was the Boy, the main character, using bad info and emotion to raise false alarms until alarm fatigue brought harm to those around him.
Year, it's fantastic. Or at least has been for the last couple of months.
