The greatest thing selfhosting ever did was give me an easy way to search "cat" in immich and get rid of all the stupid, useless photos of places and people. Just get me to the good stuff, man.

Yes, that's how national standards work.
You also can't import a Japanese-made vehicle to the US until it's 25 or more years old because the safety specs are different.

The only poor reasoning was the Boy, the main character, using bad info and emotion to raise false alarms until alarm fatigue brought harm to those around him.
