I don't know a single young person who actually cares about Internet privacy. The vast majority of them are on social media all the time.

What happens is that consumers roll over and take it. Especially considering if apple is doing it, it's only a matter of time before Android does as well and that eliminates all viable choices for non-techie people

I interviewed with them a few years ago and the dev I talked to said it was the best job he ever had.

That was the only time I ever heard anything positive about Oracle.
