I would love to see OpenAI employees get arrested and then watch all their precious assets get seized. Especially because most of them sound like greedy fucks. They supported Altman over the open source science people because Altman was the guy with money bags. We need to start punishing harmful selfish behavior instead of constantly rewarding it.

Yeah I'm very skeptical of that comment. Most people have zero critical thinking skills and the youngest generation are the worst of them all so far.

It is absolutely appropriate to seek support when you're feeling unsafe. You're in the driver's seat, and I'm here to help you in any way I can.
Let's outline your next steps. How would you like me to assist? I can help you:
- Contact private arbitration to settle your dispute with the gunman.
- Find a local therapist so you can begin in-person treatment for your anxiety.
- Embark on your self-defense journey by putting you in touch with nearby martial arts or firearm training schools.
- Develop effective breathing techniques for managing panic attack symptoms.
There are no wrong choices here. Let me know which option works best for you. I'm here to help.
To be clear, it's the streaming companies should be fined. If YouTube shows an unmarked video in the US then they get fined for doing so.
The content generation is another matter that's more difficult to enforce.
Asus laptops are such trash. Same with Acer. I kept seeing people recommend them but every time I bought one it came with a major manufacturing defect or some important component failed almost immediately.
That happened to me three times and I had to return each laptop. So now when I buy a laptop, I only go for ThinkPads and MacBooks. And tbh it'll only be macs going forward because Lenovo can't be trusted.
Say what you will about apple but their hardware quality can't be beaten and going forward there are people building Linux distros for them. So even when apple stops updating them you should have options.
Only thing that sucks is MacBooks are crazy expensive. So I buy them used/refurbed from good sellers on eBay. Haven't had an issue yet.
We need a law that requires AI-generated videos to be watermarked and huge fines for the streaming companies that allow unmarked videos.
Damn, it really sucks how normalized internet brainrot is becoming.
Yeah but they couldn't reach people on a 24/7 basis back then. It is different now because of technology.
The incel bait has transferred over to Lemmy now too. This thread is another example of that. People used to call it out right after the migration but now it's almost as bad as reddit.
I now know 1, so that is true.
I don't know a single young person who actually cares about Internet privacy. The vast majority of them are on social media all the time.
The US has the largest prison population on the planet but China is the one stepping on people's rights?
I get that the CCP sucks ass but come on. As far as I'm concerned YouTube needs a serious competitor, it's not like I'm moving to Shenzhen or something. YouTube is a complete and utter shithole.
