This is like building a wall to stop the tide.

You can lay out a philosophy and a policy and cultivate a community of like minded people.

What you can’t do is prevent those like minded people from deviating from or subtly subverting that policy when it becomes expedient.

They’re fishing with a dragnet subpoena for everyone on 3 discord servers whether or not they had anything to do with to the leak.

This is like demanding the lifetime customer history of everyone who had ever gone to a bar where a crime happened.

It would have been a completely rigged game for a US company to try and sell and TRON products in the Japanese market.

This is exactly why it was protectionism and could have caught trade sanctions had it been more widely adopted.

They invented a cooked metric to make shorts look more popular than it really is, and now they have to use the same lie everywhere or else people notice the metrics are faked.

The articles are oversimplifying because the law is impossibly complex, but the moral hazard is obvious.

It’s like they’re murdering orphans and someone tries to argue it’s actually state sanctioned manslaughter.
