There was an app called axolotl that worked with Signal on Linux phones, like UBPorts, but it has been unmaintained for a long time and no longer works.

Me, with my 5800X AM4 platform: I felt this
I really want to move away from Android to straight Linux phone, but some applications like, Signal Messenger, don't have a non-Android or iOS version.
Google really wants to fuck up AOSP development and are actively hostile these days to the project. If they could easily make Android closed source tomorrow, they would.
It won't for long. Upstream chromium removed it and the browsers based on the code are not going to work to continue patching it in.
Yup. They're only doing this because they're losing and hoping it makes people use their open weight model instead.

That's not entirely the same thing. It says it catches 89% of HARMFUL actions. That means that 11% of the time it doesn't.
That's more like if the corn had a parasite on it that could give you explosive diarrhea 11% of the time. Would you still eat the corn?
Also, in my example, I didn't say the harmful actions of the pilot resulted in a crash. However, that doesn't mean it couldn't. How many of those 11% of the time are the "woops I deleted the production database" stories we hear all the time?

AFAIK they're only targeting their flagship models first. Guess we'll see, but I don't think the Moto G series will get it. At least not initially.
