Turn off history when signed in maybe? Turning it off seems to work for me. Most of my recommendations on the side when signed in are from channels I have already subscribed to, while I typically avoid clicking on channels and videos that have clickbait-y thumbnails or titles.

Reminds me of South Park videogame addressing this trope.

Also those who rant about welfare cheats but never talks about billionaire and corporate tax cuts and subsidies and wage theft being the bigger cheats of them all.

Using the ai to help find the answers...

I think this is one of many reasons why search engines became so bad so that using AI could be promoted instead. I have turned to using AI for searching because of it.

It's cringey but maybe because I never really took imaginary points and likes seriously.

Now that you mentioned it, there aren't enough traffic and new content in PeerTube which dissuaded me from checking back.

The sticky bit (pun intended) is what would be considered inappropriate in the bedroom that should be deemed be illegal? Hardly a police will watch the act and say "Oh that's a shocker. That's a $500 fine for you."

Looks like more content creators will migrate to Nebula. Or people's Patreon will get flooded with more donations.

Google used to be "hey, we're different. We listen to our employees and "don't do evil!"

Who would have thought that if money is the bottom line, companies eventually do evil. I'm not surprised about what turned out. Enshittification is real.
