The point is it's not just speed of the delivery method, it's amount of data per delivery. You can average it to bit/second, but you also have to understand that driving 100 TB 5,000 km means no data for the entire drive/flight and then all the data all at once.

I think if you include cost of living and cost of purchasing property, the US dollar is easily 50% less effective now than in 2013.

This greentext is also 5 years old, and there’s no way to know what year the greentext itself is referencing. One anecdote that doesn’t fit an absolutism is enough to disprove it. Very weird to not be aware of something like that without having to be told about it.
