True. Definitely not saying they are more efficient or vouching for them, just a curious thought. They definitely do a lot of stupid shit like, as you said, bag individual items that absolutely do not need it. Or worse, I've ordered groceries through them and I'll get a bag that contains one onion, meanwhile it could have gone into literally any other bag. I'm guessing a byproduct of some weird logistics design sacrificing all else over internal efficiency.

Dude, I'd take short hop flights all the time if they end up being that environmentally friendly.

On one hand that sounds bad, but if that delivery driver is dropping off enough things in one run that would have been individual people driving to a store, does it balance out?

It's 2026. His nurse is probably ChatGPT. I've straight up been asked if I was okay with my appt being transcribed by AI. Icky...

I think nvidia is going to be one of the only sure winners here. They're making hand over fist selling shovels during the gold rush.

I feel like it's just as likely that further breakthroughs cause costs to plummet to the point that any of the major AI companies will never even be capable of seeing a profit, paving the way for some yet unestablished or open model to reign supreme in the end.

Hopefully, anyway lol.

I think you're reading too much into the meme format 😅

I think what they're trying to "get' is to convince you to seek help for the mental health crisis you appear to be experiencing.

For what it's worth, I hope you do too, stranger.

How are there still people who believe this?

I still remember when I first came to the US and my class did the pledge of allegiance. I was so confused, it was like I'd unwittingly joined a cult.

In a lot of cases, from what I've heard, the local police pay Flock to put them cameras up, then continue to pay Flock to utilize them. From Flock's perspective it's an insanely good business model.

From the perspective of a citizen who's paying for it, I hope everyone working for Flock d- actually, never mind.
