Majority yeah but the stuff that doesn't work can be a serious time sink to fix.

Has it occurred to you that it's not a tiny change for a lot of people?
It's a bother but it can be limited somewhat via toggles and DNS blocking.
Not all of us just use our computers as a hobby, I don't have the time to figure out Linux and make things run in wine or proton, and fixing things that break from updating that software is annoying.
Unfortunately I don't think they are wrong about it changing everything, I just don't think it will be a positive change for most people.
Yeah 1GB of RAM is completely insane for a photo app, should be like 50MB unless it's actively running face recognition or other ML stuff.
Cloudflare is quite bad at blocking much of anything malicious in my experience. This isn't going to accomplish much.
Comes from the corporate mindset where only growth is good. Just existing as a company that's makes stuff for a small group of people is somehow 'incorrect' to these crazy people.
True, I don't know if they already do it, but limiting media streams to 480p like cell providers do on some plans would probably lower congestion a lot. And maybe limiting large file transfers over a certain size to a lower priority and speed.
Are 3d printed guns even a problem? This whole thing is just a way to destroy peoples ability to do anything on their own, or repair anything.
Seems like every other 4x4 has one on the roof, every camper, people even mount them on their motorcycles.
That takes a few minutes, it's not like Linux doesn't have stuff I've gotta spend time to fix too.
