Yeah, I can tell that since I do tests for Amazon (Amazon Vine).

There is more and more camera being put to test, ranging for cheap bellow €100 ones to miniaturized keyring sized ones (with tiny screens).
I tested some of them (and have another one coming next week), the quality of the pictures are good, but the build quality of sub-100 ones are kinda bad (cheap plastics, no optic zoom, no hardpoints for better lenses, sd cards smaller than their advertised size)

You can be angry and still be polite. On even insult othe without looking like you do. But subtilty isn't Lemmy forte.

That not how that shit is done.

The BIOS just take care of the basics, but Windows do have an API allowing the BIOS to ask for the installation of additional drivers. That process was abused (and continue to be) by multiple hardware vendors to install spywares or adwares.
Linux doesn't have that API, and just ignore such requests.

I test products for a major online retailer, the amount of AI generated images is too damn high! Some of these producs are so bad I just give them away once the retention period (when you cannot sell or give them) is up. But sometimes you get some pretty good surprises (like those electric insect bite healer devices, that works surprising well).
