EA is loaded with so much debt I doubt it will even matter. They‘ll be dismantled.

Why do you want them to sell to China so desperately? It has done nothing but irreversible damage to countries to sell key industries to China. Look at Germany‘s history of solar power and industry robots that China bought and now mass produces instead. Germany could‘ve been a key player in this if the industry and politics played their cards right.

Political censorship is definitely worse so I‘m not going to bother.

Roblox really seems to be the end boss of evil game companies. The competition is certainly steep but they never cease to amaze me with how low they‘re willing to go for a few bucks more.

I’m not sure that narrative makes sense. There wasn‘t really a thing it was opposed to in most cases. Not that I‘m aware of. There simply wasn‘t a licensed platform for Anime other than the few shows on less than a hand full TV channels, mostly at night. Early anime fansub sites simply did what anime studios or TV networks didn‘t care to do: Localizing a wide variety of Anime in the first place.

And I‘m sure Chinese data centers are very happy about it.

I don‘t see why one has to be weighted against the other. I remember when my employer tried to frame it as a perk when in reality me coming to the office daily just wasn‘t feasible. I understand other employers with too much money or employees mandate office time because they value control and authority over profits or simply want to get rid of you but if you work for a smaller company they often have no benefit from you sitting in the office every single day.

I know. But it needs to be replicated because an LLM can‘t actually explain itself. Because it doesn‘t understand words. If it can‘t be replicated or another session gives a completely different response that‘s their problem to deal with. Because if they legally try to treat LLMs as a consultant or expert, that expert should at least be consistent. If it can‘t well then you probably shouldn‘t use it blindly.

Nobody knows and nobody cares. That‘s not our fight.

It makes it easier for advertisers because all views on the internet are equally inflated I guess but it also destroys 2 decades of internet history in that views played a huge role in Youtube culture and they will soon become meaningless with this update. Getting a million or a billion views on anything won‘t matter at all anymore.

But yeah Facebook, Xitter and TikTok have been doing it for years so it makes sense when you compete with them.

Or in December 1098 when crusaders cannibalized the city of Ma‘arra. So heroic…

„People hate pervert glasses! What are we gonna do to shove it down their throat anyway? Oh, I know! We equip airpods with cameras!“

Disgusting. Wouldn‘t be surprised if they bundled these with air tags as a pervert stalker starter set at this point. Tech bros are just the worst.
