They can, but they can break their end of the contract at any point. Because if that, nobody wants a contract with a child because it is a bad deal.

Good. It needs to lose all of them with their scummy behavior.

Pretty much. YouTube has something similar for premium users in their app.

I'm a qobuz user as well, but the music selection just isn't as good as Spotify. It isn't an issue for me, but it will be a barrier to entry for some.

Apple does a great job advertising privacy. They are pretty good at also blocking 3rd parties from collecting data on you as well.

What they don't do, is talk about the amount of data they collect on you. They do care about your data because they are trying to push into the advertising business. They really need to be sued by these 3rd parties for monopolistic practices abusing their platform to collect data.

Instead of innovating to create a better phone each year that users want, they seem more interested in just changing the business model. I used to be a person that would upgrade my phone every year or so, now I only start looking when my phone is within 1 year of end of life.

There is one, Slate. They are offering a small electric truck that lets you fully customize it. There is also no tracking built in at all, which no other manufacturer can say right now.

So premium will go up again because of this "free offer".

This is not a driver update. This is adware that is automatically installed with the device being connected. It is the same as how synapse is automatically installed with Razer products. If it was a driver, you wouldn't be able to uninstall the software and have the device still work, not that a monitor needs a driver anyway.

Xbox has been gifted a chance with Sony's recent decisions. If they can't turn it around, they deserve to fail.

That is the main reason I haven't gotten a framework either. It's hard to compete with used especially when it already has your top feature.

16 is too high. I feel that under 13 would probably be the right age. Kids need to be slowly integrated into things they will deal with as adults, so having a 5 year range allows more gradual access.

If they really want to address the issues of social media, then they need to target the algorithms. They are designed to be as addictive as possible. These social media companies also need to be held accountable for what gets shown in feeds since it is a form of speech.
