Business has to pay tariffs
Business raises price to offset tariffs
Customer pays increased price
Tariffs are deemed illegal
Business receives refunds for tariffs
Customer pays the refund via taxes
How is this anything but a transfer of wealth from citizens (the customers) to businesses?
It was mildly funny the first time. The next few ones not so much but I still got it. Now it's not funny and a dead horse to boot
My brain has developed a defence mechanism for it. I dream of having to pee but it's always in the most uncomfortable/public/undesirable places so I can't do it
I think they're talking about sideways motion. Seat belts do their big part but the seat can stop you from going off one side when the belt presses you into it.
