True, but the light will still be subpar compared to a light designed from the ground up to use leds at least, that's been the case with all the maglite led replacements I've tried

I looked it up
Seems like a nothing burger
Every day? Even back when I could cook that would be a no. Because that's not a relationship, that's a job.
I'm fine with being a SAH h/d. Hell, if I were a dad in that situation it would be amazing to have the freedom to be there every day, at least until the teenage years hit and the kid/s would be branching out into the first stages of their own lives. Being a dad that is disabled was better than being a dad that couldn't be at home because he was a wage slave. So being healthy and having that freedom too? Sign me up.
But the way the meme makes it out, that's just a job. Might still be a good relationship, but once obligations at that scale start creeping in, relationships can crumble faster than people can patch them up.
That being said, I fucking loved cooking for my people. So I would still do it every chance I got in that situation. Just couldn't let it be some kind of transactional shit.
Minors can't waive rights. Or, in theory they can't waive rights because they don't have capacity. That's my understanding
This is missing a comma. It should be: but first, coffee
Anyway, it's a shame it isn't higher resolution, would make an entertaining wallpaper
Maybe you should've too :)
Apparently, some kind of runner's tracking service?
That is not Withers
Ö
Surprised, or singing Bohemian Rhapsody?
I down with æ, but me and all my homies hate ø because it's so negative looking, like, why can't we enter there, ø, who made you the alphabetic gatekeeper?
I nominate ů instead. Look at that angelic little halo. But I'd accept ű as a metal af alternative \m/ little ű

Shit, I've been banned from lemmy communities for comments that I don't even think of as being that dark. Reddit too. You don't see as much death and misery as I saw without developing some level of gallows humor.
But the shit I got banned for was me self checking. Minimising the extremity of it. Tweaking the phrasing so it should have been obvious it was dark humor (not that anyone had to find it funny, but it was pretty fucking obvious it was dark humor).
There's maybe three people I've ever known that have been around my darkest humor and not freaked out a little. One of those still needed to state they weren't okay with it, but recognised it as dark humor.
Only people that I've had extended interactions with that really got the darkest stuff and laughed too were also people that have seen what real darkness is and recognize that finding a way to laugh at it is the only way you keep from breaking entirely.
Truth be told, that entirely is doing a lot of work there. Some shit breaks you, and not all the mental superglue in the world will fix it. But dark humor is good glue. It holds shit into one piece instead of destroying you, and I reckon that anyone that doesn't get that isn't worth my time and energy anyway
