1100 sq ft alone sounds massive to me, and I'm a woman. I live alone with 2 cats in a 700 sq ft apartment and it feels perfect and even slightly spacious. I have a nice sized living room that houses my computer desk and my bookshelves, a largish kitchen/dining room, a big bedroom with a tiny walk in closet, and a larger than normal bathroom with a washer/dryer in a closet. I love it and I wish I could take it with me when I inevitably move away from the area.

Sounds eco friendly to me
The sad truth in this world is that ~~apart from your close friends, your partners and your parents (if you're lucky)~~ nobody cares too much about you in general.
I've learned that if I open my mouth and admit I'm struggling or a little depressed, the relationship ends very quickly. Even if you aren't noticeably depressed, it doesn't affect them at all and they only know it because you admitted to it, it's like they think it's contagious. Now, no matter what it's big happy smile and I AM ABSOLUTELY GREAT LIFE IS GOOD HOW ARE YOU? My therapist is the only person I will ever tell when I'm having a rough time and even then sometimes it's really hard to admit it and not keep pretending everything is good.
And 30 F isn't really that cold. Throw a hoodie on or maybe a light jacket.
I wish it were 30 F right now. I'm ready for summer to be over.
