What exactly is a stick pen? An image search shows one of those pens with a removable cap?
I've tried those before, but the caps always end up disappearing on me, and it felt quite "cheap" quality (BIC Cristal for example)... but maybe there's some better brands?

In what way would the EULA/contract be illegal/invalid? The US has a pretty broad freedom of contract. No one has forced you to buy that licensed computer program. You don't need it to survive. You're not discriminated against by not being allowed to buy the software instead of a license.
Understand I'm playing devil's advocate here. I agree that such contracts are morally corrupt, but I'm not aware of anything that'd make them illegal. Only by being truthful regarding the current laws is how we can make change.
I agree, but that's not how I'd imagine the courts would see it? If the EULA says that you don't own the computer program, you're just paying for a license to use it, then you're not really "the owner of a copy of a computer program"...
You're forgetting the 12% exception, but they'd probably need an even larger amount than that.

Yeah, but that's also because Apple doesn't even inform the user that their version of macOS is EOL. So unless you're an active follower of Apple news, most people won't care -- at the least simply because they wouldn't even know. Same thing with Android, etc... whereas Microsoft makes it annoyingly obvious that you're running an unsupported version.
And I fully believe it'd be some kind of justified retribution. The silence from Microslop's side is deafening.
