In short: front end (like, page design) dev added a line in code that would call home for a list of people and instances dev didn't like so they won't appear on the front end to users. Badically a unwanted blacklist of users. Many got there for one reason or another. Some have no clue why.

Suggested my wife to get mini pc with 32gb of ddr5 ram. If she would sell half of it today, she'd be reclaiming 60% of what she paid for that minipc.
Originally I suggested her to get 64gb one so I could swap mine 32 with hers. She ultimately decided to not to. Could've been like 80% if she'd sell 32gb today. Crazy...

Sorry, what? If they are so tech-illiterate that they have to call you and ask why the website is not working, then what kind of web sites are they visiting?
Been using FF since 2022 and the only sites that wont work are the ones that utilizes HID. Are your parents trying to flash custom firmware for their phones though browser every third day?
Ubisoft had success with UPlay in the past
The whole case is about Valve forcing other storefronts to sell at the same price as these publishers sell in Steam. Key point is that allegedly Valve requires this even if the game is sold not with a Steam key, but publishers own. Allegedly. Time will tell if they actually do it or not.
So far Ubisoft and WB hasnt had a great reputation in gaming community, so there should be no surprises why most gamers side with Valve.

Agree about China overtaking market. Electric BYD is a huge ass SUV and costs 24k here. The next best option is a Dacia Bigster which is not exactly as good. Even so, dacias are populating my region due to low cost
