I have no problem with people having fun, but my cousin buys fifa or Football manager every year. Which is fine, he has fun with it. Good. But recently he asked money for fuel. And I lost it. All he wanted was 60 dollars because he ran out budget and is maxed at credit card and payday is 3 days away. I refused stating he has spent over 90$ just this week on a game with no meaningful upgrades. never got big limits, he only has one card of $4k, so not financially irresponsible, but starting to with these kind of decision making. And I need to stop it it's track.
I can't understand decision making like this, he is smart enough to know how much fuel he consumes, he bought the game when his tank was around 20-25% full. 3 days later tank is empty and now it's borrowing time? No man fuck that.
That's a fair point though. Although he needed money only for three days. And i guess I would've lent him because he would return it. Come to think of it, I'm feeling like the asshole now.
Any advice on how else can I make him understand priority?
