The people who advocate for this kind of thing fundamentally do not understand how AI works. Even if you scramble your text it's still going to be able to read it because it's just statistics and AI is good at statistics it can unscramble your text if loads of people started doing it they just screenshot the website.

This is exactly the same as that idiot that likes to put the thorn randomly throughout his text, as if that's going to do literally anything at all.

What game is it that they've got in mind that is likely to be killed off? If we were talking about the EA of old then sure they would have had a point but the new corporate EA that's been around for the last two decades doesn't have anything that could be considered controversial.

It's a really hard problem to solve though. Video hosting is a huge data hog I don't think small independent instances would be able to keep up with the storage requirements. Especially at the moment considering storages so expensive.

I would prefer it if it wasn't Chinese because I don't really trust Chinese companies, but then again I didn't really trust Google and YouTube super duper needs competition.

Yeah this is always been my problem. I kind of do want CCTV cameras on my house because I do live in a sort of high crime area, but I don't see why I should have to pay a subscription to a company just so they can train an AI on my camera footage.

But you do have to buy a whole new aircraft, and maybe you've still got 20 years on your current one, so you need to make that money back, and one of the best ways to ensure that you pay off that cost is to have more customers, and the best way to have more customers is to have cheap fairs. You can afford cheap affairs because you'll feel costs a lower.

Voice transcription predates AI. I remember using a piece of software called dragon back in 2010 to transcribe my dissertation.

There's not enough information in the article. For example has complaint actually been raised, because it's sort of sounds like she's just complained online about it but hasn't actually done anything official.

It also doesn't apply outside the US (there's a whole planet out there guys) so regardless of the nuance of its construction, it isn't relevant here anyway.
