It's because people are so used to tasting it in sweet foods.

IMO, where vanilla really comes into its own is in very small amounts in savoury foods.

It has the TIA, which is as close to a picture processor (and also audio synthesizer) as you can get, but due to the 128 bytes of RAM, there was not enough RAM to form a framebuffer, hence the need to race the beam.

Interesting things that are not on the list:

  • Farming equipment
  • Motor and electric vehicles
  • Computers (including laptops)
  • Video game consoles
  • HVAC systems and equipment

Not sure if smart TVs fall under "electronic displays", or if they just mean commercial displays when they say that.

You can disable ACR on your TV by disconnecting it from the internet.

Many mobile apps have a "pull to refresh" feature where you swipe up to the top of whatever list you're looking at and then swipe up even further to refresh the whole feed. A "crazy refresh pull" is when said content appears on the newly refreshed feed and the user finds it enjoyable in a way they find to be extraordinary, or at the very least, better than average.

Playlet. Not the best solution, though. Roku is a very closed down platform.
