People really fail to understand what a truly colossal undertaking a site like YouTube is. It's a technological wonder that they are able to process that much data and serve it so efficiently. Hate YouTube all you want, I do, but the engineers at Google are fucking magicians.
Perfectly true. It would've been nice, if it wasn't so inherently abusable. We can't have nice things.
You sweet summer child, back in my day YouTube had a five star rating system and video response functionality.
I fucking had to keep pushing back buying some more RAM. Yeah, that was a great move. Now I can only hope the bubble bursts and prices crash.
I mean, I get by fine with the RAM I have. I don't need much. It's the principle of the thing, you know? Sometimes being financially responsible and careful sucks.
