It's so catastrophic that no one who screams about it can point to anything that's actually happening or has happened because of it

The powers that be want to create artificial shortages of everything we use so they can control us

that's why no one's talking about climate change anymore. 1. because it's obviously bullshit and was only ever going to be used as an excuse to turn every free country into a dictatorship

and 2. because of the massive amounts of electricity and water the data centers will use when they're built

What? you actually believe in climate change? You must be pretty young. In my lifetime I've been told there's a hole in the ozone layer that's going to cause the end of the world 30 years ago and that there isn't going to be any ice in the polar regions by 16 years ago.

But the same people who told me that have gigantic mansions with 4 industrial AC units each on beachfront property who also own multiple private jets. "oh but I bought carbon offsets" No, they get to write that off on their taxes, WE paid for their indulgences

It's like a church charging YOU for an indulgence that someone else gets to benefit from

the last time I went to my favorite burger place, not a fast food chain, a local place, owner operated. Some shitty little kid was running around the booths screaming.

There's a homeless camp very close by that place and when I tried to warn the mom that homeless, sometimes drunk and/or high homeless people go in there she calmly but angrily told me "don't tell me how to parent my kids"

not long after that a homeless lady came in there looking around the booths for any forgotten items to steal, the stupid lady still didn't wrangle her kid to stay near her

The article said the government makes you give it away for free

If I buy something that means it's mine. The government shouldn't get to dictate how it gets used, that should be up to me

Oh! Great, so everyone who took initiative, saved up money and bought solar panels is now NOT going to be benefitting from their hard work.
