Yes. But mostly because I know that my view pays the creators I watch orders of magnitude more that an ad based view
Being ad free is just a bonus I don't really notice because I have ad blockers anyway
They don't have much money, as they need to pump every cent into their aiOS
And you eat around 8 dns queries in your sleep
Revenue is already largely based on watch time, so if people click away after a couple seconds, you didn't really get anything anyway. Plus you tell the algorithm that your videos will cause a room of people to leave quickly
Given that they wanted to drop the replacement completely at first, they are probably more than fine with that

maybe it was rolled out slowly over multiple regions. But it definitely started end of july. even the arstechnica post itself is alrady a week old
it already requires being loggd in for about 2 weeks

I'd be happy with just regular intelligence for everyone
