I migrated every single repo to GitHub (from GitLab) yesterday. Today was a short day.

That's funny because I would prefer them dead and I bet there are more who think like me than there are who think like them. Maybe they should start getting frightened. I'm not saying we should kill them, but I wouldn't bat an eye if they just dropped dead. And I bet not much would be lost for humanity after we sat down and made a plan how to redistribute their wealth and equity.
He for sure did a lot of tweaking to make it more Nazi, more pervert and more pedophile accommodating. And it still calls for action against him.
That's why it's important to make friends. I'd never ask someone I don't know to vouch for me. And I would never vouch for someone just in my contacts. Be a friend, be loyal to them. That's the network I'll happily rely on.
Some years ago I knew someone at the company I wanted to apply at, asked them about the employer, and then doodled my face on a piece of toilet paper. 15 minutes later HR called me back.
*slight exaggeration, but it really wasn't hard.
You obviously haven't understood how warm and welcoming bribe money is. Have you even tried? 😭
Yes, but unluckyly, I have to use teams 😭
I don't know how the existing solutions work, but the article mentions it being possible without training on the specific keyboard first and with 99% accuracy. And that would be frightening, especially combined with that sentence:
The researchers describe three realistic attack scenarios, where an attacker could:
- ...
- Recover keystroke sounds transmitted as background noise during online meetings
How would I write shit about the idiots presenting in the meeting without them knowing?
Yes, that wasn't a punch on the teachers, but the school and maybe Apple. They could simply sell pre-configured devices and it wouldn't make much of a difference in their pipeline.
I'm in tech and a connoisseur of modern stuff, but even I wouldn't want my non existing kids to be screen only. Have an IT class to get them to know how to use those devices, then back to books and paper. A friend struggles like hell keeping her son from spending his whole day on digital devices, if the school pulled that off, he'd be toast.
I'd guess a mix of don't care and don't know
Because all my pleading to host our own forgejo was ignored. It's not as if I had much choice in my job if my company's IT decides to switch.
