Shoot me down for this, but I think GOS is melodramatic. They need to think like a tech partner. If they get asked so many questions about other phones, they need to de-obfuscate their requirements and exchange a dialog with phone manufacturers like FairPhone! Gave you an upvote though.

Many apps seem to have that problem on the iPad. It wasn't until last year that Instagram was properly sized for it, as an example.
