The goal isn’t consumer level profits, the goal is to replace workers, this is the first time capitalists are looking farther than quarterly profits. They’re investing in R&D to replace us, not selling a product. We are not part of the plan.

It can’t, though. Expecting things to be different from the way they’ve literally always been is idealistic bullshit detached from reality. “Could and should” will never exist, there simply is how things actually work, and things have literally never worked as you claim they do and should.
Learn some actual history, if you don’t then you will only ever be a piece on their game board of propaganda.
We have gotten those things from them, many times, when we used bricks and bullets to rip them from their cold dead hands.
