The only fans I ever met irl were at the movie theater for the finale, and they were cool. The online community is, from what I've heard, pretty unwell.

Maybe. I've always heard that women mature more quickly than men. Certainly women hit puberty earlier. Its very hard to sus out the differences from nature and nurture.
The average human being, regardless of status, spends approximately zero hours a day thinking about the culture war.
I think its more that, if that's where your mind went after seeing a meme with a beautiful woman it the culture war is rooted a little too deeply in your mind

At least in my market all national games are simulcast OTA for local teams. I think. Definitely Monday night football.
NFL isn't bad, at least if you just want to follow your home team. The games are still broadcast free over the air, just got to buy a $20 antenna and you're set for life.
