It isn't too surprising that some things get routed over general domains that the company already owns. Probably the facebook domain since they bought WhatsApp way before they rebranded to meta.

This for once isn't anything malicious. Dunno if I would call it best practice, but they probably don't intend to unbundle WhatsApp in the near future.

I'm not even sure what that joke could've been

Educational entertainment, also referred to by the portmanteau edutainment

The word has been around since 1973 and is included in many dictionaries. If you want to correct someone, at least inform yourself beforehand.

The microplastic is the least important point when it comes to food safe products. Sure microplastic is bad, and we have no real idea about the long term effects, but there are there are things that already have effects on your health in the short term:

A lot of different plastic types release actual toxins over time, especially when exposed to high heat, since that destroys the molecular bonds. Having food or water touch these toxins is a great way to absord them into your body.

Apart from that most 3D printed materials have micro ridges and air pockets that are the perfect place for bacteria to grow. That's probably the worst thing to have in your kitchen.

It doesn't have any desire, but its really good at "solving" problems in unexpected ways.

They are currently trying to improve their agentic AI by making the AI itself prompt other AIs. Considering how much the output of a single prompt can vary due to weights and hallucinations, it wouldn't surprise me all that much if they started out with "make yourself better than Claude" and 4 AIs deep they reached "destroy all our competitors."

Its by all means stupdid as fuck, but that corresponded with the entire AI Industrie, so who knows.

If the same combination is issued multiple times then no, they don't work as intended.

The issue here wasn't that the license plate was too colorful, it was that the missing national standardisation allows for over a thousand cars with the same plate.

Then make it 7 or 8 characters like most countries have. Its not like that wouldn't fit on plates. With 8 chars you could remove 2/3 of all combinations and still have an order of magnitude in reserve.

improve a workers productivity when you compare two workers of equal skill.

It makes you seem more productive in most metrics that corporate america seems to measure, but that doesn't really mean anything. Even if most of what the current AIs produce would be good quality (and it's not, its mediocre at best), one hallucination costs you more time than everything it saved you.

Europe won't just be colder, the weather will be more extreme in all directions. Hotter summers and colder winters, with stronger storms due to more extreme temperature variances. It will be a fun time all year round for everyone.

It's not an offense to drive on medications unless it impares you

Its not that its no offense, you simply can't be prosecuted if no one knows about it. But that doesn't equal legal. If you get into an accident and anyone finds out that you took opioide, even just medical painkillers, you will be attributed most of the blame in court.

That also means I could drive whilst high from my cannabis prescription if there was no imparement.

A prescription only provides defense in court, not an immunity to prosecution. It still is in your responsibility to prove that you weren't impaired by your medication, which is nearly impossible. If your tolerance is high enough that your reaction time doesn't decrease, then its nearly useless either way.

If with "here" you mean anywhere close to the EU market, then I have to dissapoint you. An SOS button is mandatory which then also includes a GPS module.

You also cant make a totally dumb ICE anymore with safety and emission regulations. If you buy a new car, it will have all the necessary tech in it to track you and send telemetry. It doesn't matter how barebone the car looks unless you personally stripped everything down to the metal and remove every electric component that's not 100% required.
