I feel like out of every privilege we actually have a/b testing people do frequently. When you gain or lose 100+ pounds you can definitely go from being ugly to being pretty or vice versa. And anyone honest with themselves recognizes that when you're pretty a lot more doors are open to you.

The concern isn't that Wikipedia sticks around. It would be the financialization of Wikipedia. Them turning on their workers and paying their executives enormous salaries doesn't necessarily mean they are compromised, but it's a concerning pattern that we've seen before (hell, reddit is a good example).
Enshittification comes for us all. But we really need to be proactive about saving wikipedia, or at least it's data.
I mean palantir is pretty fucking close. While technically it's neutral in-lore and only used for evil in the story. We see it as an evil object used by the bad guys and that's the association it has.
Or its fakes bs to set a precedent. Someone here committed a federal crime. But the circumstances frame OpenAI as just being a couple of silly billys who didn't know any better. This will end up not getting prosecuted, and if it does it at least won't end up with the same federal charges and it will set a downright evil precedent for AI accountability.
Landlords/homeowners are always required to "repair" a property to a bare minimum livability (as determined by law) but it's usually about repairing the problem using the least money possible.
It's why landlords turn themselves into DIY handymen. In theory it's the cheapest option but there's a reason we hire professionals to do plumbing.
It's a terrible incentive structure. Tenants have no motivation to repair the place they aren't going to live in a year from now and landlords only have to put a bandaid on any problem until a tenant falls for it.
Either a tenant plans to be at a place long enough to invest their time/money or the landlord has to be selfless and repair the house cause it's the right thing to do.
Unfortunately for us, the best times of the year are about half a month in the spring and half a month in the fall

Free dumb?
My only barrier to it is the T9 text input. I'm constantly writing notes on my phone. I would have a hard time if I had to T9 every note in.
Yeah the stark reminder that at any point you could choose not to live like this, it's just your quality of life would suffer.
