Not quite. I believe it's intended as a reference to how smooth their brains are (proverbial crystal balls).
He earned it after all.
Also my favorite to use with the smart junior engineers who keep saying we should "just do ___."

Whoa there: I said "I remember", not that interlacing was good.
And interlacing is only "good"for old video games that leveraged its weirdness for blending pixels.
It is terrible as a video format.
