Yep its great cause I get new x every year. I have heard people say they want to lease appliances because they well get a new fridge or stove every couple years. And they want it cause new tech. We are our worst enmities. The waste this all produces is insane.

Cinnamon is a desktop not a distro. Fedora as much as I hate Red Hat is a pretty solid distro.

Most places still record locally. Do this for a living. Video is a lot of data so it is usually local storage. The small places don't install them but from looking usually buy something off the shelf and install.
I mean this is true of all sources and they should be checked.
