But modern consoles are just x86 CPUs. Sure in the past they where specialized not so much any more.

Once something is perceived as free as the internet has been for ever. It is very hard to get people to pay for it.

We thought tech would improve our lives. And allowed companies to do anything they wanted for decades because don't want to hinder progress. And no regulation on companies purchases.

Apples fight back was for show. The FBI wanted it public and in the open. They throw their "morals" away as soon as it hits their bottom line. Look at China and how they handle Trump.

And what is the difference between American companies?/ Microsoft has said they have to follow all requests from american government even of it goes against another countries laws. Like US asking for data in EU.

Sure but humans are lazy and greedy so it well be used for mostly evil. Like people who say they check all the code sorry don't believe them and even if they do human nature means they well start to trust it and not check the code.

They are also forcing it for regular reddit. I get a pop up and when closed you can't scroll. There is even a thread about what to put in ublock to work around it.
