I built a PC for work (I'm going to take it with me when I leave) and I bought used adata ram (2x32gb) with a lifetime warranty on it. I immediately needed to send one of the sticks for warranty. I bought the initial set of ram in May, and yesterday I paid roughly the same for a used set of 2x16gb. The price of the 32gb sticks is prohibitively expensive now. I'm betting the price only goes up, just wish I would be at 128gb rather than 96gb.

Naw, clearly the 7th time it will work! No further investigation required!
I mean, both times in two years ive bought storage/ram the prices have increased afterwards. So depends on how much you need it/can wait.
Because they want to push power users away with hundreds of tiny cuts
I would be stoked, depending on the source. But with that I could take a noticeable chunk out of debt/buy a good pair of boots/use as a down payment on something.
But 20 a month would not make a noticeable difference, even if the end result would be the same. I can't do anything with 20 dollars a month that I cannot do now.
Which as always is a fair answer. I do get feelings of joy remembering asking my parents for something and them actually saying yes for like a book/video game/flash drive. Hell, I remember being excited exactly that way getting an 8gb flash drive so I could finally burn dvd's to something other than physical DVD's.
Hope your kid gets that too!
Yeah, but it would make a marginal if almost unnoticeable dent in any bills I'm actually stressed/worried by.
I might not just know "ThE vAlUe Of A dOlLaR!!¡" but 20 dollars would make no difference a month.

I would just feel like such a piece of shit scalping though.
