You do realize he isn't American?
He is though. He is a US citizen and moves in the absolutely upmost echelons of US-american society (politically and hierarchically speaking). He participares in US economy and politics more that in any other economy and politics (though he tries to reach for several european states' politics, too) and is perfectly adapted to US conservative/far right culture, language and rhetorics. He is as US-american as it gets.

idk that asshole lives in the USA and bought a large portion of its government for personal gain before using that power to shut down global charities and government funded aid programs on a global scale. what do you mean what does he have to do with the USA?
You don't have to be born in the United States to be an American. It's like, our whole deal, no matter what those shitty MAGAts tell you. So I think unfortunately we have to claim him.

Actually, he's an illegal that somehow managed to get his hands on a citizenship even though he should have been kicked out and banned by law. He is literally the illegal that all the conservatives keep whining about. He's the one that keeps taking away their jobs. The one time that they get anything correct, and they fuck it up rather than kicking him out.

Life is inherently deeply unserious and we need to start acting like it. Wear what you want.
I feel like any company that enforces a dress code today betrays itself as not being a real job. If your job is doing real work that materially benefits people, there's no reason to care about the dress code. If your job is a performative money siphoning scheme then you probably have a dress code that is just as superficial.
One of the best perks of my job is that I have shown up in my workout clothes for the gym I'm going to after work and no one bats an eye cause everyone is just doing the work we need to get the job done.
