They're not investors. They're combination of idiots and people who discussed things with him/his family prior and used buying the rugpull coin as a way to transfer a large bribe for a pardon or a child or something.

I don't know how anyone can not understand this

[–] holy_scroller@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Why not both.

There were almost a million investors. I am sure there were dozens or hundreds that used Trump coin for a bribe...but that still leave about a million investors.

Hence the original comment saying "a combination of idiots and..."

Classic con artist tricks, target rubes and rely on their greed.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago

Only the suckers.

And they did not recognize that he was just collecting donations? Next time you know him better.

[–] Lodespawn@aussie.zone 1 points 1 month ago

Ohhhh, so they need to go collect some favours post haste, assuming the dementia hasn't already moved him on from that grift ..

It's funny how he's pulling the rug from under the very people that support him. Not a very sustainable strategy, but then he doesn't do anything sustainable does he

It’s funny how he’s pulling the rug from under the very people that support him.

And they'll still happily give him money because they're fucktard mouth breathing cultist dipshits who are a waste of carbon and oxygen.

[–] nodiratime@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Thry will give him every last penny and ask him to please take their family too (as property), while he is at it.

[–] adhdsergio@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

You're being too kind

[–] andallthat@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

He inhabits a 80-year-old, badly abused and decomposing body and he doesn't care about anybody else including his own family. "Sustainable" is probably not what he's going for at this point (if it ever was).

They literally bought crypto from a con man, hard to feel sorry for them.

[–] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 7 points 1 month ago

Isn't it all just bribes anyways?

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

The money is not gone. It is just in someone elses pocket.

[–] skozzii@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

But guess who made a billion, hmmm, funny how that works....

[–] darkmogool@feddit.org 1 points 1 month ago

🤭🤣😂 (sorry, I don't find words for this)
