It's a different sort of warmth.
Me and my cat are like this with my office chair. I warm it for her, she keeps it warm when I go to make coffee or take a break
🤣 ew, just pictured you sitting down on the subway after someone else got up and whispering "mmmm, ya, that's the stuff" as you wiggle you're butt into the seat.
Your cat has shit particles in its fur and no layer of clothing separating its ass from the seat.
There is a research study that showed they actually don't rub their butthole on stuff they sit on. It's curved up away from the surface.
Which makes sense cause it wouldn't be healthy for them to put their bottom orfice in contact with everything.
Even better, lying down on the spot on the bed my cat warmed.
