I'm designing my dream bathroom and its bottom half is aluminum so I can just hose it off

I would think stainless steel would work better than aluminum. That’s what industrial kitchens use. Also aluminum expands and contracts a lot with temp changes. So be careful!

I was thinking avoiding the steels because of rust (and aluminum is supposed to rust) but I didn't think of the other things, yes

I think I’d do polished concrete with embedded radiant heating if it fit my budget.
