If the Ukrainians can make a drone drop a grenade I'm sure someone can make one that can spray black paint at a lens or solar panel.
It has Bluetooth and other problematic shit. It's not enough just to blind it.
See, this is where homemade EMP technology can really start to advance. Just make sure nobody around has a pacemaker.
An EMP could be thought of as a big powerful radio wave, right? Could someone create something like a radio laser to direct a pulse towards a target?

Hopefully the people cutting these down are not carrying their phones with them. Bluetooth and WiFi can be used to identify people.
I think that's how that congressional candidate probably got caught :(
That gets the facerec but not the RFID, wifi, etc.
If it covers the solar panel, the batteries run flat.
Sounds like a waste of a free solar panel to me
