Ego is the enemy
Eh, I try not to have an ego.
Winning in my case tends to involve shutting down reactive idiots who are spouting bullshit by replying to them with enough sources and facts to the point where they start deleting their own replies and blocking me to get away because they now look like fucking morons.
It can be very satisfying but sometimes they're also a mod or try to dox me, and that is not so fun.
are you sure you're not the one being the reactive idiot though?
