Mate... We fixed the hole in the ozone layer because it was going to kill us... That's literally one of the best examples of people coming together to solve a global problem.
We had a real problem. Everyone agreed its a problem. Then implemented a long term fix and everyone stuck with it.
You can take the tinfoil hat off. Shit ain't that deep.
Elon Musk's satellites are currently re-destroying the ozone layer as they burn up on re-entry. And he plans to launch many tens of thousands more of them.

He's not the only one, there are a bunch of companies that want to launch fleets of satellites. I read a recent article that said in the very near future, only about one out of every 15 visible "stars" will be natural.
Since the beginning of time, every living creature, including every evolutionary stage of mankind, have looked at the sky in wonder, awe, navigation, science, calendars, romance, beauty, religion, etc. Gazing into the cosmos has been a core human experience for trillions of people since the beginning of humankind, and now these Sociopathic Oligarchs want to STEAL that from every future human, just so they can have a little more money.
