It's so upsetting how just yesterday I had my library on shuffle and, out of tens of thousands of tracks, it played "Death of Optimus Prime" on the exact day he died.

the universe decided to give you some negative frisson. it's not often we get it.

my way to cope with those is to find a quiet spot to sit and just hold the feeling as long as it will last. i think that's because i associate music with positive frisson (you know the way the chords move under the notes that it makes you almost want to weep. it's almost orgasmic when it's done well. at least i hope you know that way. come to one of my gigs or rehearsals (giggity) we try to provide the experience of touching the sacred through song.
