What are the odds that it filters down?

I'll pick up a cheap android and put Lineage on it before I buy another flagship phone.

Not for awhile as the cheaper chips don't have the features required.

What are those features? I thought avoiding Google stack would be entirely software based. Send me a link if you don't want to write it all down.
