It is okay to masturbate.
Sexuality is a physiological need, not an addiction put into you through subliminal messaging (unless you're some kind of ace). In fact, it is also good for your mental health.
Also I really hated those nofap weirdos that would show up esp in November on reddit and elsewhere.

We, the netizens of Lemmy want it known that we are staunchly PRO CUMMING.
Like many things, it’s only healthy in moderation. If you’re one of those reddit dudes janking it three times a day yet say they’re not addicted, it’s very likely an addiction.
I would even contend daily is a bit too much. 3-4 times a week or every other day seems to be healthy.
Everybody has a different baseline. Very, very different, indeed. Let's not spin something perfectly normal as a sort of mental illness.
I never said it’s a mental illness, it’s normal human behavior to get addicted to things.
I think I'm in the ace spectrum and cumming is a chore.
